What this repair actually is.
Loose steering almost always means a worn joint somewhere between the wheel and the tires — tie rods, the intermediate shaft, the rack mounts, or on trucks the pitman arm, idler arm, or linkage. We do a hands-on dry-park test and lift inspection to find exactly which joint has play.
