What's involved

What this repair actually is.

Instead of rebuilding your original unit, we swap in a complete replacement transmission — remanufactured with a warranty, or a lower-cost quality used unit. The old transmission comes out, the replacement goes in with fresh fluid and a new cooler flush, and the vehicle's computer is programmed and adapted to the new unit. It's often the faster option when internal damage is severe.

Symptoms

How you can tell.

  • Transmission has catastrophically failed (no movement)
  • Rebuild quote exceeds the value of repairing the original
  • Case is cracked or hard parts are destroyed
  • You need the fastest route back on the road
If you delay

A vehicle sitting on a dead transmission loses value while storage and rental costs pile up.
