What this repair actually is.
We scan the transmission control module for stored codes, check the fluid level and condition, and road-test the vehicle to feel how it shifts under real driving conditions. The goal is to identify the actual cause — a solenoid, low fluid, a worn clutch pack, or something mechanical — so you only pay to fix what is broken.
How you can tell.
- Check engine or transmission warning light is on
- Engine revs but the car doesn't speed up (slipping)
- Hard, delayed, or jerky shifts
- Whining, humming, or clunking from under the car
- Car won't move in Drive or Reverse
Small transmission problems tend to snowball — a $300 solenoid fix ignored can turn into a full rebuild.
