What this repair actually is.
We cut out the old windshield, prep and prime the frame, and bond new glass in place with automotive urethane, then let it cure to a safe drive-away strength. If your car has a forward-facing camera or sensors behind the mirror — automatic braking, lane keeping — the windshield must be matched to those systems and the camera recalibrated after installation. The windshield is a structural part of the car: it supports the roof and the passenger airbag in a crash, so proper bonding matters.
