What this repair actually is.
For cracks up to roughly six inches, we drill a tiny stop at the crack tip, then inject and cure resin along the full length of the crack to bond the glass back together. This halts the spread and restores much of the windshield's strength. Longer cracks, edge cracks, and cracks in the driver's sweep area usually need full replacement instead.

- A visible line or crack running through the windshield

If you delay
Cracks almost always keep growing, and once one crosses the driver's view or reaches the edge of the glass, repair is off the table and replacement is the only option.
