What this repair actually is.
Front and rear tires wear at different rates, so we swap their positions in the pattern your manufacturer specifies, torque the lug nuts to spec, and set all four pressures. Doing this every 5,000–7,500 miles evens out wear and extends tire life.

If you delay
Skipping rotations lets one axle chew through its tread early, forcing you to buy tires sooner and sometimes voiding the tire mileage warranty.
