What's involved
What this repair actually is.
We drain the old coolant, flush the system to remove rust, scale, and degraded fluid, then refill and bleed it with the manufacturer-specified coolant. Coolant wears out over time and loses its corrosion protection, which quietly damages the radiator, water pump, and heater core from the inside.
Symptoms
How you can tell.
- Coolant looks rusty, brown, or muddy
- It's been 5+ years or 60,000+ miles since the last flush
- Heater isn't as warm as it used to be
- Coolant reservoir has sludge or floating debris
- You've been topping off with tap water
If you delay
Worn-out coolant corrodes the radiator, water pump, and heater core from the inside, leading to leaks and expensive replacements.
