What this repair actually is.
After a tire rotation, new sensors, or new wheels, the car may not know which sensor is at which corner — or may not recognize the sensors at all. Using a TPMS scan tool, we trigger each sensor and register its ID with the vehicle in the correct position so the dashboard readings match reality.
Symptoms
How you can tell.
- Pressure light on after a rotation or new tires
- Dashboard shows tire positions that don't match reality
- New sensors installed elsewhere but light never went off
- Seasonal wheel swap and the car won't read the second set
If you delay
The system keeps warning about the wrong tire or none at all, so a genuinely low tire can slip past unnoticed.
