What this repair actually is.
Using an aiming target at a set distance, we adjust each headlight's vertical and horizontal aim to spec. Headlights drift out of aim after front-end work, collisions, suspension changes, or just years of Bronx potholes — and misaimed lights are a real NY inspection failure.
Symptoms
How you can tell.
- Oncoming drivers flash their high beams at you
- Low beams light the road right in front of the bumper only
- One beam points noticeably higher or off to the side
- Failed NY inspection for headlight aim
- Recently had front-end or suspension work done
If you delay
Badly aimed lights blind oncoming drivers, shorten your night vision, and will fail NY inspection.
