What this repair actually is.
Ground straps connect the battery, engine, and body so electricity can complete its circuit. When they corrode or break — very common on cars that see NYC winters and road salt — you get dim lights, slow cranking, flickering gauges, and hard-to-explain electrical faults. We test each main ground for voltage drop, then clean, tighten, or replace the failed straps and connections.
