What's involved

What this repair actually is.

Each injector is a precision valve that sprays fuel into one cylinder; when one sticks, leaks, or fails electrically, that cylinder misfires and raw fuel can wash into the engine oil or exhaust. We remove the fuel rail, replace the failed injector(s) with new seals, and verify the misfire is gone. Pricing is per injector, so you only pay for the ones that actually failed.

Symptoms

How you can tell.

  • Steady misfire on one cylinder (often a flashing check engine light)
  • Fuel smell in the engine bay or in the oil
  • Rough idle that cleaning didn't fix
  • Noticeable loss of power
  • Injector circuit codes on a scan
If you delay

A leaking injector can hydrolock a cylinder, dilute your engine oil, and destroy the catalytic converter.
