What's involved
What this repair actually is.
Tires are a fleet's biggest wear item and a top TLC fail point. This visit rotates and balances all four wheels, sets pressures to spec, measures and documents tread depth at each position, inspects for punctures, sidewall damage, and irregular wear, and flags any tire approaching replacement so you can budget for it instead of getting failed for it.
Symptoms
How you can tell.
- Steering wheel vibration at highway speed
- Tires wearing unevenly or faster on one side
- It's been over 5,000 miles since the last rotation
- Slow leak you keep topping off
- Tread depth questioned at inspection
If you delay
Unrotated fleet tires wear out thousands of miles early, and tread below 2/32" is an automatic inspection fail and a wet-road hazard.
