What's involved
What this repair actually is.
We remove all four struts or shock assemblies, swap the factory springs for your lowering springs using spring compressors, and reassemble everything with fresh hardware where needed. A four-wheel alignment afterward is required — lowering the car changes the suspension geometry and skipping it wears tires out fast.
Symptoms
How you can tell.
- You want a lower stance and less wheel gap
- Car leans and floats through corners on stock springs
- You bought lowering springs and want them installed safely
- Factory springs are sagging or a spring has snapped
- Previous lowering job was done without an alignment and the car pulls
