What's involved
What this repair actually is.
Instead of replacing the whole bumper, we remove the cover, plastic-weld cracks and tears from behind, fill and sand scrapes, then prime and repaint it to match your factory color. It's usually cheaper than replacement when the damage is limited to one area and the mounting tabs are intact.
Symptoms
How you can tell.
- Scraped or gouged bumper from a parking mishap
- A crack or split in the bumper cover
- Scuffed paint from a low-speed tap
- Bumper corner pushed in but still attached
If you delay
Cracks spread with every pothole and temperature swing, and water behind the cover can corrode the mounts — small repairable damage can grow into a full replacement.
Maintenance tip
Address parking-lot dings before they crack further.
